Edwin has been teaching since 2007. His youngest student is 5 year old and oldest is 70+ years old. He teaches on a custom grand piano made for identifying playing errors and for improvement. Edwin also advocates for a better knowledge over “just the paper” achievements to further build a better future for the music culture in Singapore. As such, his students usually learn more than one instrument other than the piano as their main.
Edwin’s teaching focuses on the core of music, instead of just the instrument. The core, being the identity of music to the player, what and where the player feels and sees oneself in music. He believes each player has their own pace and should progress in their own time, and each musician should learn what they like and loves to do.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Music and LTCL PIano Performance certificate from Trinity London. She passionately started out as a piano teacher in 2012. She is very experienced in teaching very young children from 3 years old all the way to working adults.
